Summary: Objectives: The objectives in NPTEL Phase II are to create contents for science and engineering courses (web and video) in all major disciplines as well as specialized and newly developing interdisciplinary subjects for which there is very little academic expertise in private colleges. The workshop aims in bringing up your views, opinions & suggestions in order to enhance the quality of structure.
Workshop abstract:
- Introduction: What is NPTEL Phase-II?
- How it is different from Phase-I?
- What is the current status of project?
- How do institutions and individual access the content?
- Brief discussion on additional features which Phase-II embodies.
- Idea behind the modular structure of the web & video courses.
- Importance of role of reviewer and collaborator.
- Wherein lies the future?
Course Topic:Mechanical Engineering
